Hi thanks for the great sample.

Can you please explain the ExpenseLocalService a little bit please. Is it being used by the WF to communicate with the Business Component or what else can be here and what is it's purpose.

Hi!

The ExpenseLocalService is used for data exchange between the workflow and the hosting environment.

Please refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms735947.aspx to get a better idea.

Thank you so much Serena.

Just a small clarification

If you had business logic components that have to be accessed by the Presentation layer those would be accessed as WCF services?

Hi!

If your business logic components are deployed to the same tier as your presentation layer i.e. single box deployment, then you do not need WCF. If you are deploying your business logic components to a separate App Server and those components can be potentially shared by other applications (or similar application on different platforms i.e. mobile, silverlight, win desktop) then you should consider WCF.

Hope this helps.
